The wrestling promotion presents Bound for Glory this weekend, their biggest show of the year, before heading to the U.K. for their eagerly anticipated tour, but is one of wrestling’s biggest names likely to appear at any of these events? 

Ace Steel, arguably Punk’s best friend in the entire industry, has been reported to be taking a backstage role with Impact this weekend with a full-time role possible in the future.  

Holding a similar position in AEW before leaving that company along with Punk, could the pair be reunited in Impact? 

Punk is currently a free agent, and his name has been linked to WWE since he was dismissed by AEW following All In in August following an altercation with Jack Perry.  

Punk’s next move is not yet known but with Steel occupying a position in Impact Wrestling, the chances of Punk showing up there have just increased massively.
