It may not be confirmed, but excitement is already building ahead of a potential fight between Gervonta 'Tank' Davis and Ryan Garcia.
Davis opted to take a tune-up fight for his preparations and stopped Hector Luis Garcia in the ninth round in early January, but the fact that Hector Luis Garcia was able to land plenty of punches is something that concerns boxing trainer Robert Garica who is the latest name within the sport to give his prediction.
“Hector landed some punches on Tank but I don’t think he has the power,” Garcia told 210Boxing TV when asked to assess Davis' win.
With a potential 'Tank' Davis vs. Ryan Garcia supposedly set for April, Robert Garcia was asked for his prediction and believes that there will be only one clear winner.
“I think Ryan has the f—g power. I think if Ryan lands, he will hurt Tank.
“I pick Garcia. He’s too fast and too strong.”
