Last Thursday, in response to someone on Twitter discussing whether an impressive performance by Garcia on Saturday against WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios, live on DAZN PPV, would help get a sequel made, Haney shut it down. 

Haney's (33-0, 15 KOs) statement is misleading as Garcia is undergoing VADA testing at this time. 

The former undisputed lightweight champion last fought in November, defeating Brian Norman Jr. to capture the WBO welterweight title. "The Dream" sent Norman to the canvas in the second round and then outclassed him from there to become a three-division world champion. 

Talking with DAZN before Saturday's fight with Barrios, Garcia was shown a video of Bill and Devin Haney trolling him during his defeat last May against Rolly Romero. A Garcia win would have set up a rematch, as Haney won earlier in the card over Jose Ramirez. At first, Garcia was complimentary of his rival.

"He went in and had a great performance after with Brian Norman Jr.," Garcia said. "Give me my shot. I've had a great training camp."

When push came to shove, Garcia couldn't help himself and got in one jab at Haney.

"I'm here to even have a better performance. I'm gunna show you how to get a knockout," Garcia calmly said. "It's how you finish somebody. You could have finished Brian Norman Jr. but you didn't. Now, watch this."
