The Queenslander was riding high in late 2024 after outclassing Raven Chapman before Tiara Brown handed her a first professional loss.
That reverse last March sent the star down a division in pursuit of new glories, which began with victory over Carla Camila Campos Gonzales.
Nicolson turned over Urvashi Singh in August too, then took the WBC interim strap with a major win over former champion Yulihan Luna in December.

Older than her opponent, but with marginally fewer bouts under her belt as a professional, fellow Queenslander Turner is seeking a major scalp.
With a hot streak under her belt right now, she has turned over a slew of foes, including two last April in Leah Reuben and Thanchanok Phanan.
Turner defeated Reuben again last June, then followed it up with a July victory over Siriphon Chanbuala and a November win against Stephanie Lee Cutting.
