Coming on the heels of last month's tournament in Korea, where Bryson DeChambeau's Crushers GC were victorious. The result pushed DeChambeau into second place in the individual standings, behind Torque GC Captain Joaquin Niemann.

The event is the last before the U.S. Open, which will see several LIV players compete in the major.

LIV Golf Virginia, date, tee time

This LIV Golf event will run from June 6-8 at 12:05 pm EDT / 5:05 pm BST tee time. 

All three days start with all players on the course, with shotgun starts. The competition is played over three rounds, 54 holes, across Friday to Sunday.

Which course is LIV Golf Virginia played on?

LIV Golf Virginia will be played at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia.

According to the LIV Golf website, the course will play "hard, but fair."

Completed in 1991, the course was founded "by accident" and has hosted four editions of the Presidents Cup.

"Apart from the stunning 11th hole, the water is more a backdrop than a trapdoor, so it shouldn’t cause the players too much trouble," the course description reads. "And the big greens should encourage plenty of ambitious play, although the sneaky contours could impose a heavy penalty on anyone who gets over-confident."

Who is playing in LIV Golf Virginia?

54 players will compete over the action packed three rounds. This includes 2024 U.S. Open winner Bryson DeChambeau, who will defend his title the following week 

Also scheduled to play in Virginia are Phil Mickelson, Jon Rahm, Charl Schwartzel, Bubba Watson, Sergio Garcia, Cameron Smith, Patrick Reed, and Dustin Johnson.

Since this is LIV Golf's debut at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club, this year's winner will be treading new ground.

Where is the next LIV Golf Invitational event taking place?

The event will take place at the Maridoe Golf Club, USA from June 27-29.
