ONE Championship arguably holds its biggest fight card tonight from the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore. The main event features a rematch as Adriano Moraes defends his flyweight championship against former UFC flyweight titlist Demetrious Johnson. The co-main event is Nong-O Gaiyanghadao putting his Muay Thai bantamweight title on the line against Liam Harrison.
Moraes and Johnson battled for the gold in April 2021 at ONE on TNT. The consensus was Johnson would roll over Moraes and claim another championship. However, the script was flipped on its head when Moraes scored a thudding second-round knockout to pull off the upset. Moraes continued his momentum by successfully defending the belt in March, submitting Yuya Wakamatsu in the third round.
On the other hand, Johnson's also fought once, beating Rodtang Jitmuangnon in a special rules affair by second-round submission on the same show as Moraes.
